Red Soil features the work of seven artists from Hanoi, curated by Nguyen Manh Phuc of The Gioi Gallery, and brought to Australia by The Australian Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Centre for Exhibition and Art Exchange, Hanoi.

Later in the year an exhibition of Australian work developed by Asialink and the Footscray Community Arts Centre will travel to Hanoi in partnership with the organizers of Red Soil.
